Athletistic/ Formula 1. The pages of Formula 1 teams Red Bull and Ferrari have published messages addressed to German driver Sebastian Vettel, who has announced his retirement from Formula 1 at the end of the 2022 season.
“Thank you Sebastian Vettel! Applause for a great moment in Formula 1,” reads the Red Bull team page.
“It was an honor for us to share so many Formula 1 memories with you. We look forward to enjoying your last races together. We wish you good luck in your future life path,” writes the Ferrari press service.
Sebastian Vettel is a four-time Formula 1 world champion. He won all the titles as a Red Bull driver from 2010 to 2013. The German started his Formula 1 career in 2007 with the BMW team. The same year, he joined the Toro Rosso team, where he played until the end of the 2008 season.
From 2009 to 2014 Vettel was Red Bull’s driver, from 2015 to 2020 he played for Ferrari. In 2021, he moves to Aston Martin, with whom he finished 12th at the end of last season. After twelve “Formula 1” Grands Prix in 2022, Vettel is 14th in the drivers’ table, with 15 points to his credit.
