Celebrating his birthday again at the Hungaroring, Fernando Alonso was his teammate for…
Fernando Alonso (6th): “Productive Friday, we tried different settings. Tomorrow and Sunday the weather will change, now it’s hard to say what to expect, but we worked out both training sessions without any problems, after collecting the necessary information.
The car is fast, it is a pleasure to drive – let’s see what results we can get on Saturday. I have to say it was a lot of fun driving around the Hungaroring on my birthday!”
Esteban Ocon (13th): “It’s great to be back on track in Budapest, where I won a race a year ago. Both training sessions went smoothly, possibly the only sessions on dry roads this weekend, as the weather forecast promises rain.
We got a good idea of how the car works and should be in good condition for the rest of the weekend. We know that rain in Hungary can change everything – it will be interesting to see how it ends.”
