Athletistic/ Formula 1. Aston Martin driver Sebastian Vettel, 35, has announced his retirement from Formula 1 at the end of the 2022 season.
Vettel is a four-time Formula 1 world champion. He won titles from 2010 to 2013 with the Red Bull team. Vettel started his Formula 1 career in 2007 with the BMW team. The same year, he joined the Toro Rosso team, where he played until the end of the 2008 season.
From 2009 to 2014, Vettel drove for Red Bull, and from 2015 to 2020, for Ferrari. In 2021, he moved to Aston Martin, with whom he finished 12th at the end of the season.
After twelve “Formula 1” Grands Prix in 2022, Vettel is 14th in the drivers’ table, with only 15 points to his credit.
