After Red Bull Racing announced the departure of Adrian Newey, experts started speculating about which team the legendary designer would continue his career with. Most agreed that Adrian would move to Ferrari.
However, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko hinted that he knows Newey’s new workplace, and this is not the team from Maranello.
Helmut Marko: “Which colors do I see Newey wearing in the future? I think the red contrasts somewhat with the dark blue. But I think anything is possible with such a beautiful color as green.”
Indeed, the Aston Martin team was mentioned as a possible option for Newey’s career. Given team owner Lawrence Stroll’s vast financial resources and his desire to lead Aston Martin to a championship title, signing Adrian Newey seems a plausible scenario.
