Haas sued former Formula 1 team boss Steiner – media

Business “Haas” owner of the Formula 1 team of the same name, filed a lawsuit against the former head of the racing team, Gunter Steiner, reports Autosport.

The company believes that Guenther and his publisher violated Haas trademark usage rules in his autobiography, Surviving to Drive.

As of January 2024, the Italian manager’s earnings from the autobiography amounted to at least $4.5 million.

Steiner has led the team since its inception in 2014. In January, it was announced that the Italian had left Haas.

Earlier in May, the former Haas boss took the Formula 1 team to court for failure to pay during the 2021 to 2023 period.
