Liam Lawson makes his F1 debut in Spa

The regulations oblige the teams to give the first two Friday practice sessions during the season to young riders – and at a press conference on Friday, the team leaders clarified their plans.

Franz Tost has confirmed that Red Bull youth member Liam Lawson will make his F1 debut at the Belgian Grand Prix with AlphaTauri.

Alpine reserve driver Oscar Piastri will give the first practice session at Spa or Monza.
