Ron Dennis commented on the scandal at Red Bull Racing regarding allegations against Christian Horner. The former McLaren team manager suggested that the unpleasant situation faced by Red Bull Racing employees may be due to their rivals’ desire to weaken the championship team.
Ron Dennis: “I think it is completely inappropriate for me to have a personal opinion on the subject being discussed as I have not been associated with Formula 1 for seven years. Most likely I don’t know any more about this history than you do.
But the reality is, and not just in Formula 1, that many senior executives and politicians face similar problems in their lives. And I feel that [в случае с Хорнером] there is something more going on.
I don’t say what is right and what is wrong. But the environment in which the team exists is such that everyone around them wants to see the team fail. I guess that’s the point.
The only thing I would like to point out is that I am not condemning anything that may or may not have happened. I’m just saying that when something happens, there are always ulterior motives.”
