Eddie Jordan, a close friend and manager of Adrian Newey, denies that the eminent racing car designer will continue his career at Ferrari. According to Jordan, Newey has yet to negotiate and is currently evaluating potential offers.
Eddie Jordan: “It’s actually very wrong to say that Newey will join a certain team. I speak as someone who knows, but is not allowed to reveal information. There are currently no negotiations underway.
We will negotiate, but now Adrian has to decide what he wants. Let me be very clear: this will be Adrian’s decision alone, but it hasn’t been made yet. I am willing to do this all my life, but at the moment he has not expressed any desire to follow a certain path.
We are looking at the options and giving different people the opportunity to talk to us.”
