Ferrari racer Charles Leclerc won qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix.
In the fastest attempt, Leclerc completed the lap in 1 minute 10.270 seconds. This is the second pole position of the Monegasque’s career on his national circuit and the 13th for Ferrari in Monaco. Additionally, Leclerc broke the streak Max Verstappen (Red Bull) of eight consecutive pole positions. A week ago, the Dutchman repeated Ayrton Senna’s record for this indicator.
The second qualifying position was taken by the Australian McLaren driver. Oscar Piastri (+0.154), the first three were closed by the Spaniard Carlos Sainz (Ferrari, +0.248).
