The Haas F1 drivers are disappointed not to have qualified for the final qualifier – it won’t be easy to earn points tomorrow…
Nico Hulkenberg (12th): “The result corresponds to the speed of the car. Unfortunately, she is not fast enough to get into the top ten. In the second session I did a clear lap, which I was very happy with, but it was difficult to achieve more. Tomorrow you will have to take risks. Let’s see how everything goes after the start.”
Kevin Magnussen (15th): “In my opinion, the speed of the car allowed us to qualify for the final, but this did not happen, which I am very angry about. If you start in the top ten in Monaco you will almost certainly earn points, but we were far from that.
We refueled the car for another lap in case there was traffic in the way during the first fast lap. In the first corner I gained more than a tenth of my time, but we had to break that and on the second lap I ended up in traffic.”
