The Ferrari team has prepared a large number of technical innovations for the stages in Imola and Monaco. And although Carlos Sainz said they didn’t give such a serious increase in speed, the Scuderia’s progress is clear.
The Italian team’s engineers expect to fully understand all the features of these new products during the Spanish Grand Prix, but work is already underway in Maranello on the next major update package.
Ferrari plans to upgrade the SF-24 for the British Grand Prix, which will be held at Silverstone from July 5 to 7. As planned, aerodynamic innovations should increase the car’s efficiency in qualifying. This season, the speed of the car in one fast lap is not Ferrari’s strong point, and Maranello is trying to correct this shortcoming.
After Silverstone, Ferrari will further modernize the car. The expectation is that these will be small but regular improvements.
