Guido van der Garde: “Ocon acted stupidly. The team was fortunate that the race was stopped by red flags and they were able to repair Gasly’s car. If the management decides to dismiss Esteban from participating in the next race, it will be a painful blow for him, although it will probably not come to that.
Remember what he did to Verstappen in Brazil ’18, when Max was in the lead and Esteban was a lap behind? It was just so stupid.
Imagine sitting at a pre-race briefing and discussing strategy. What is important? So guys, we’re tenth and eleventh. Please let’s make sure we earn the points we really need today! To do this, you have to help each other. Those who lead the way have priority. So what does Ocon do? When he sees a small spot on Gasly’s side, he immediately attacks it. This is so stupid.
