After eight races, Williams is eighth in the Constructors’ Championship with two points, but Alex Albon is confident in his progress and believes he can challenge for the title in a few years…
Alex Albon: “When James Vowles joined the team there were a few short-term issues that needed to be addressed first, but now we are working on long-term plans, and that is written into my contract.
I know that this year will not be easy for us, that next year we will take a step forward and that, when the regulations change, we will see the results of the team’s hard work.
Our next goal is to earn points consistently. I think we’ll get closer to that in 2025. The next goal is to get on the podium and then win races. “I believe I can fight for the title at Williams, but I understand it will take time and I don’t expect any major changes in the short term.”
