Daniel Ricciardo’s place at RB is not in danger

Daniel Ricciardo will regularly be behind teammate Yuki Tsunoda in 2024, but as paradoxical as it may sound, the Australian driver is being offered a contract extension for 2025.

According to BBC Sports, Ricciardo’s place at RB is not in jeopardy as Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner wants him in the team. In turn, Helmut Marko wants to put Liam Lawson behind the wheel instead of Ricciardo, but the Austrian specialist lost his influence in the team after the ‘civil war’ linked to the Horner scandal.

If Christian Horner does not change his attitude towards Ricciardo and Tsunoda, Daniel will continue to play for RB in 2025 and Lawson will become his partner.

As for Tsunoda, he will have to find a place on another team. Options include Williams, Haas and Alpine. It is believed that Yuki has a good chance of getting a contract with one of these teams.
