Sergio Perez and Red Bull have extended their contracts

Sergio Perez and Red Bull have extended their contracts; the Mexican will be Max Verstappen’s partner at least until the end of the 2026 season.

Christian HoornerCEO and team boss: “Now is the time to confirm our 2025 line-up and we are very happy to continue our partnership with Sergio.

Continuity and stability are important to the team, and Perez and Max are a successful and reliable partnership, which gave us our first winning double at the end of the season last year.

Perez started the season strongly, finishing second in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Japan, and finishing on the podium in China. The last few races have been difficult, but we have confidence in him and look forward to returning to his previous form and results.

We will work hard to increase the number of wins and titles, but we have confidence in our squad and our team, which is extremely important this year when the championship is fiercely contested.”

Sergio Perez: “I am very happy that I can dedicate my future to this great team. Driving for Oracle Red Bull Racing is a challenge like no other, both on and off the track. I’m happy to be here to continue our journey together and contribute another two years to the great history of this team.

It is a great honor to be part of this team. We have a huge challenge ahead of us this year and I have full confidence in the team, we have a bright future ahead of us and I want to be part of it.

I would like to thank everyone for their trust and respond with excellent results. I think we will win many more titles together.”
