Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner said Daniel Ricciardo did not do enough to move to Red Bull Racing. If the Australian driver wants to guarantee a contract with the RB team for 2025, he must show better results, according to Horner.
Christian Horner: “Daniel had ups and downs at the start of the season. He knows he has to do better and knows he hasn’t done enough to earn a place in the first team next year.
We have plenty of time to make a decision on our RB lineup. We have Daniel, who has a lot of experience, and it was this experience that certainly helped Yuki Tsunoda, because Daniel, together with the engineers, set the direction for the development.
We also have young talented drivers in Formula 2. Isaac Hajjar is already knocking on the door. Liam Lawson is also a very valuable member of the team and we know what he is capable of, so there is constant pressure on the current riders.
