Two Aston Martin hypercars will debut at Le Mans in 2025

Aston Martin has announced that it will field two new Valkyrie LMH hypercars at the start of Le Mans 2025.

The British car manufacturer returns to the top class of the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship in collaboration with Heart of Racing. The new Valkyrie hypercar will be powered by a modified version of the Cosworth V12 engine used in the road-going version of the Valkyrie. However, the car will not be equipped with a hybrid system, which is present on many modern hypercars.

“In 2025, we plan to launch two Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR-LMH hypercars together with our Heart of Racing factory team,” said Adam Carter, responsible for the Aston Martin endurance racing program. – We are doing everything possible to ensure that we will compete at the forefront.

The Valkyrie AMR-LMH program is on schedule and much of the work is happening behind the scenes. “The car will make its track debut later this summer and then we will embark on an intensive testing period to cover as many distances as possible and learn as much as possible about the car before homologation is scheduled for the autumn.”
