The question of which team the eminent engineer Adrian Newey will continue his career with remains open. The last time any information about this appeared was at the beginning of the summer, when the German press reported that Newey, together with his manager Eddie Jordan, would examine all available offers in detail in the coming weeks.
It’s no secret that they want Adrian at Ferrari, but he has other offers that don’t involve moving from Britain to Italy.
The Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, which has very close ties with Max Verstappen’s family and quotes sources without naming them, reports that Adrian Newey recently visited Aston Martin’s base in Silverstone. This visit probably took place in the context of research into the proposals received.
Earlier this spring it was reported that Newey had received a generous offer from Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll. Furthermore, according to rumors, Adrien is trying to lure Flavio Briatore to Alpine.
