Ferrari racer Carlos Sainz set the fastest time during the third free practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix at home.
In his fastest attempt, Sainz completed the lap in 1 minute 13.013 seconds. Next comes McLaren driver Lando Norris (+0.030) and another Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc (+0.037). The current champion and season leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) posted the fourth result (+0.074).
The stewards will study several episodes involving the leaders for possible blockages and dangerous maneuvers at the end of the session.
The Formula 1 racing weekend in Barcelona will continue with qualifying on Saturday, starting at 17:00 Moscow time.
