The winner of the sprint on the Spielberg track was the three-time world champion and leader of the current season, Max Verstappen, who competes for the Red Bull team.
After the Dutch driver, the best time was set by the McLaren team drivers: Oscar Piastri, who took second place, and Lando Norris, who completed the top three.
Qualifying for the race will begin at 17:00 Moscow time at the Red Bull Ring.
