Norris: If Verstappen says he did nothing wrong, I will lose all respect for him

Pilot “McLaren » Lando Norris spoke about the collision with Musk Verstappen during the Austrian Grand Prix and said he was disappointed with his opponent’s behavior.

The collision occurred after Verstappen and Norris had been battling for the lead for several laps. As a result, both drivers were forced to pit, with Verstappen dropping to fifth and Norris retiring. Verstappen was given a ten-second time penalty for the collision.

After the race, the Dutch Red Bull driver said that the driver “knows better what he is doing behind the wheel of the car.”

– It all depends on what he says. If he says he didn’t do anything wrong, I will lose all respect for him. If he admits that he acted stupidly and recklessly, then I will have some respect for him.

“I’m disappointed. It was a good race. I expected a fair battle, but I wouldn’t say it was exactly like that,” Norris told GP Blog, citing a Sky Sports broadcast.

The winner of the race was British Mercedes driver George Russell.

The next Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held at Silverstone (United Kingdom) from July 5 to 7.
