Red Bull Racing, as promised, presented a special version of the RB20 car’s livery, specially prepared for the British leg of the championship.
At Silverstone, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will race in cars designed with the participation of the team’s fans as part of a competition called REBL CUSTMS. Now everyone has seen the first results of this ‘people’s art’, but they promise to show two more options in Singapore and Austin.
The car chosen for the British Grand Prix was created by Thai fan Chalay Suwanish and is inspired by the exterior of the RB11 car the team raced in winter testing in 2015.
Christian HoornerTeam Principal: “Following last year’s success, when fans helped design our cars, we will be competing again in 2024 with an RB20 painted by our fans.
The most loyal fans took part in the REBL CUSTMS program and I am very happy that they play such an important role in the work of the team. The 2024 season is the twentieth season of Red Bull Racing and I can’t wait to see how we fight for victory at Silverstone next weekend.”
