In the second practice Nico Hulkenberg showed the fourth fastest time, and Kevin Magnussen only showed the twentieth…
Nico Hulkenberg (4th): “Good Friday. In the morning we worked with the previous version of the car and in the afternoon the team installed the latest innovations. Of course there are differences, there is a lot to optimize, but the first impression is positive, and this is important.
“The weekend could be tricky weather-wise, rain is possible and we have to be prepared for that. I really like this track in dry weather, because of the fast parts, but I’ll take it as it comes.”
Kevin Magnussen (20th): “I missed the first training, in the second I started to get into the rhythm, but because of the weather I couldn’t ride a long segment. I hope it works out tomorrow.
“I was able to test the car on a wet track when we were preparing for the start practice. I didn’t achieve much in this session, but tomorrow is another day. I wouldn’t say no to rain, even though Nico was fast in dry conditions, so we’ll go for both options.”
Oliver Berman (14th): “A good session at my place and one of my favorite songs. There are many positive aspects. We delivered new products, got to test and give feedback. I am happy that the session went well and I wish the team good luck this weekend.”
