The Haas team will take part in the two-day Pirelli test at Silverstone from July 9-10.
Reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi will pilot the VF-24 for the first time this season on Tuesday, while tests will continue on Wednesday with Oliver Berman, who signed a multi-year contract as chief driver this week.
Pietro Fittipaldi: “I am very happy to be taking part in the Pirelli tests with Haas. There is important work to be done to understand the differences between the formulations.
“It’s always a privilege to drive a Formula 1 car, and it’s even better to be able to help the team develop. Haas is making great progress at the moment and I want to use the available track time to help the team gather as much information as possible.”
Oliver Berman: “I am enjoying the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of the VF-24 after two successful Friday practices. It is just great to have the whole day at the track at my disposal.
“Together with the team we have built up a good pace and I hope that the weather next week will allow me to expand my knowledge of driving a Formula 1 car ahead of the debut season.”
