Ricciardo’s return to Formula 1 was accompanied by hopes of a potential contract with Red Bull Racing, but the Australian failed to impress, meaning he now doesn’t even have a contract with RB for next season. At Silverstone, Ricciardo admitted he doesn’t know how and where he will spend 2025.
Daniel Ricciardo: “I don’t have any information about what’s going to happen next. I’m not in a position to predict anything at the moment. I’m just trying to do my thing. But in qualifying at Silverstone it didn’t quite work out. I feel like there’s nothing I can do about the situation we’re in.
“Will I stay at RB for the rest of the season? I wouldn’t make any predictions in this sport, which is becoming more and more global every year, more and more Hollywood, so to speak. The story that is currently playing out in our sport is absolutely Hollywood, because it is completely unpredictable.”
