Oscar Piastri will start fifth at Silverstone and hopes to fight for the podium…
Oscar Piastri: “Yesterday’s qualifying didn’t go quite as we wanted and at the end of the last session I was affected by traffic, but the weather situation remains uncertain today, so events can develop according to any scenario.
We hope the race will go well, although there are very fast cars starting around us, including Mercedes, but of course Max Verstappen will also go very fast. Let’s see what we can do, except that the weather at Silverstone can bring surprises.
However, I have nothing against the rain, especially since under normal conditions, if you start from 5th position, it will not be easy to move forward. So if it rains, it will only make the events on the track more exciting – for me personally, it will not hinder Predviz, which will be interesting anyway!
