Pirelli has completed the second day of testing prototype tyres for the 2025 season with McLaren, Williams and Haas at Silverstone.
Lando Norris, Logan Sargent and Oliver Berman drove a total of 273 laps on Wednesday. In the morning, the racers worked on the track with two compound rain tires, and in the afternoon, when the track was dry enough, they switched to slicks.
Oliver Berman set the best time, completing a lap in 1:29.481 s. Lando Norris had the second fastest time – 1:30.987 s, Logan Sargent completed the tests with the third fastest time of the day – 1:32.161 s.
“Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we were unable to complete the entire planned programme of work with slicks. We focused on harder compounds designed for circuits like Silverstone,” said Pirelli Racing Director Mario Isola.
Work continues at Silverstone on Thursday, with the Red Bull Racing team hosting a film day with Liam Lawson.
