Jaguar TCS Racing reserve driver Norman Nato returns to the Formula E car for the final two rounds of the season in Seoul. The Frenchman replaces Sam Bird, who broke his arm during the race in London.
Norman NATO: “First of all, I want to wish Sam a speedy recovery. As a reserve driver, I have been with the team the entire time this season. I haven’t driven a Formula E car for a year, but as soon as I get behind the wheel again next weekend I will try to earn as many points as possible. I want to make the most of this opportunity.”
Sam Vogel: “I am devastated that I will miss the last two rounds of the season in Seoul, especially as I would be driving my 100th Formula E race. I will need a few more weeks to recover from surgery on my left hand , but I will be ready for the tests and the ninth season.
I have faith in Norman – he has won races and will earn points for Jaguar TCS Racing.”
