In the final round at Silverstone, Williams earned two points thanks to Alex Albon’s ninth place. The team admits that repeating this result at the Hungarian Grand Prix will not be easy.
Alex Albon: “We are going to Hungary, to the Hungaroring circuit, where I have always enjoyed racing. It is great to see such passionate fans in Budapest.
We return to the circuit after a strong performance at Silverstone, but the structured series of stages proved difficult. We have drawn conclusions from the past few weeks and will look to apply what we learned in Hungary.
Traditionally this circuit is not very suitable for our car, as is the high temperature, but we will try to take every opportunity.”
Logan Sargent: “I am happy to be back in Hungary this week! This is an interesting track with twisty corners and a smooth second sector. I am very happy if I can drive a lap at the Hungaroring.
We will try to maintain the momentum we gained at Silverstone and achieve a positive result on Sunday.”
