Today the sun is shining over the Hungaroring and temperatures are above 30 degrees, but yesterday the Hungarian circuit was hit by the elements, and once again the McLaren camper, which was only recently repaired after a fire, suffered the most.
The difficulties for the Formula 1 teams began even before the start of the weekend, when heavy rains accompanied by hurricane winds hit the circuit last night. There was so much water everywhere that the mechanics of some teams were ready to organize swimming sessions in the pit lane, after which they shared interesting photos and videos on social networks.
The storm was so violent that the roof of the McLaren camper was damaged. The Woking team is simply unlucky, because during the Spanish Grand Prix, problems with the electrical wiring caused a fire in the catering unit of the guest camper. In the British phase of the season everything was repaired and now a very expensive structure was damaged again. The team has not yet officially commented on this unpleasant news.
