Max Verstappen thinks the Hungarian weekend will show how the rest of the season will go for Red Bull Racing…
Max Verstappen: “Since the start of the season we have gradually updated the car, but these were not particularly big new items. Now we have brought a really large-scale update.
This is an important weekend for us. If we improve significantly, it could be decisive in the fight for the title this season. But I don’t know what the further progress will be and what other teams will achieve. Now we are completely focused on ourselves, on our results. We have brought a lot of new products, tomorrow we will put them on the car and we can evaluate the difference in speed.
How close are our opponents to us? I think the question should be different: how close have we come to our opponents. In the last races our car was not the fastest and for the time being I do not expect the situation to change. Of course we will introduce new ones, hopefully with them we can take the next step, but for now I just want to try them out and see how they work this weekend.”
