Australian Team Driver “McLaren” Oscar Piastri became the winner of the Hungarian Grand Prix – the 13th round of Formula 1.
Piastri started the Hungaroring in second position. The 23-year-old rider took the first Royal Race victory of his career.
Second place went to another McLaren driver, Briton Lando Norris (+2.141 seconds), with the top three completed by Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton (+14.880). For the 39-year-old Briton, this is the 200th podium of his career; he holds the F1 record for this indicator.
Current Formula 1 champion and individual standings leader, Red Bull’s Dutchman Max Verstappen (+21.349), finished fifth.
The next stage of the World Championship will take place in Belgium from July 26 to 28.
