Norris: I can’t believe summer vacation is coming up soon

After a winning double in Hungary, McLaren will be hoping to build on its success at Spa…

Andrea StellaTeam boss: “After a very strong weekend in Hungary we are fully focused on the Belgian Grand Prix.

Spa is a favourite circuit among racers, but at the same time the longest and one of the most difficult on the calendar. Changeable weather brings uncertainty, but we see every difficult stage as an opportunity to achieve more.

We are approaching the end of an exciting first part of the season and we will try to get as many points as possible before the well-deserved summer break.”

Lando Norris: “Before Spa there is another special circuit for me, one of my favourites, and I know I’m not the only one who enjoys racing there. The track is challenging and the weather can be unpredictable, but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before.

I can’t believe the summer break is coming up soon. Last weekend was incredible for our team. The car behaved superbly, the winning double in Hungary is a great result to end the first part of the season. I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and hopefully earning points for the team.”

Oscar Piastri: “I took my first win in Formula 1 and I have to say it’s been a great few days. I want to thank everyone for their support and kind words. It’s been a great weekend for the whole team, but now we turn our attention to the last race before the summer break.

Spa is my favourite circuit and I am looking forward to returning to Belgium. It is always difficult to predict how it will go, but we are in a good position and hope to earn points. The first half of the season has gone well, we will try to build on our success this weekend. Let’s see what happens.”
