Red Bull Racing confirmed earlier this week that Sergio Perez will stay until the end of the season. Manager Christian Horner said the team will do everything it can to help the driver regain his old form.
Christian Horner: “Our priority is to support Sergio and understand what he needs. We all want him to get back to his best. We all want him to get results. Sergio himself understands very well that the team needs two cars that show results. He drove well at the beginning of the year and we need him to get back to that form.
Sergio is a great team player and that’s why we invited him to partner Max at the end of 2020. He won six, seven races with our team.
