McLaren has made significant progress over the past year and a half and now expects to challenge for the Individual Championship and Constructors’ Championship titles in 2025.
When Lando Norris was asked on Sky Sports if he sees himself as a contender for the title next season, the British driver replied: “It’s always nice to say things like that and feel optimistic. But I still have to work on myself and on some things. But I feel like I have a fast car and everything I need [для борьбы за титул]”
Lando added that he still has weaknesses, especially starts, that he needs to work on: “I probably make too many mistakes. In the last month I made a lot of mistakes and missed opportunities.
I’m talking about starts and certain decisions. We’re talking about small things that lead to serious consequences, since the differences between the teams are minimal. “I know I have to keep working on myself and I will do that during the summer break.”
