This season, seven drivers from four teams celebrated race victories, but Max Festappen leads the individual competition with a confident lead. Red Bull Racing CEO Christian Horner believes the battle will be even fiercer next year, with drivers from four teams battling it out for the title.
Christian Horner: “It is good for the sport when four teams compete for the top spots. This was largely possible thanks to stable regulations.
Let’s not forget the history of Formula 1. I remember that when our team debuted in 2005, McLaren had the best car, but thanks to the stable regulations, different teams fought among themselves.
We expect a transition to new regulations in 2026 and this will result in one person gaining an advantage. However, from today until the next 18 months, there will be a very exciting battle between the four teams.”
