Zac Brown usually spends his summer holidays in the US, but he doesn’t sunbathe on the beaches of his native California, or at least not alone, but takes part in races with historic cars together with his United Autosports team, and we talked about it.
A day earlier, the McLaren Racing executive director boasted of finishing second behind the wheel of a Williams FW07B in the competition taking place as part of the Monterey Motorsports Reunion racing festival this weekend.
“In the race on the first day I had a great result in the Williams FW07B, taking 2nd place,” said Brown. – The car has been impressive all weekend. There was also a good fight in the other race, where I finished 9th in a BMW 320i, but unfortunately the gearbox broke in a Jaguar XJR-8 two laps from the finish when I was running sixth. I’m looking forward to the chance to be back on the grid, so our efforts with United Autosports continue tomorrow.”
