During a break in the championship, Oscar Piastri admitted that one of the results of the first part of the season was not only the first Grand Prix victory, but also the first broken rib.
The McLaren driver was injured during the British leg, which did not prevent him from finishing fourth at Silverstone. Two weeks later at the Hungaroring Oscar climbed to the top step of the podium and before the start of the summer break he took 2nd place at Spa. Overall there is no doubt that he rested and gained strength with a pleasant feeling of professional duty fulfilled.
Naturally, Piastri’s fans were a little concerned about his health after his revelations on medical issues, but at the end of the August holidays he tried to calm everyone down.
Yesterday, Oscar shared on social networks almost twenty photos he had taken in recent weeks in Montenegro, where he was on holiday with Lily Zneimer, his girlfriend, and accompanied the photos with a short comment: “I got a tan and gained weight. I’m ready to drive racing cars again.”
The photos of the couple turned out quite well and give the impression that Oscar was in Montenegro not only admiring the views, seeing the sights and enjoying various local delicacies, but also maintaining his physical condition, which will come in handy during the upcoming weekend in Zandvoort.
