On Friday at Zandvoort, Yuki Tsunoda finished seventh and fellow RB Daniel Ricciardo 13th…
Yuki Tsunoda (7th): “A good start to the second part of the season. In the second session I was confident in the top ten. The car gave me confidence, but we still need to improve a bit for tomorrow’s qualifying.
I like this track with its ups and downs and rounded corners. The team is positive, we have to consolidate our success tomorrow.”
.
Daniel Ricciardo (13th): “Today it was windy and the conditions were constantly changing, which allowed us to try different rubber compounds.
We have a lot to think about – there were more issues than expected, especially in the afternoon when Yuki was much faster on Hard compared to me on Medium – the reasons need to be solved.
It’s quite a short lap, the results are very tight, so every little detail is important. In the evening we will study the settings, try to make adjustments and hopefully we can make improvements tomorrow.”
