Max Verstappen (5th): “In the first session it was not possible to cover a large distance due to the weather, but during the day it improved and we could estimate the balance of forces. We lacked speed in long and short series, we do not yet understand how to achieve more, but we will figure it out.
It’s been similar the last few races so it’s not a surprise, but we need to work on improving our speed before we go into qualifying tomorrow.”
Sergio Perez (12th): “The conditions on Friday were difficult: the first practice was in the rain and the second on a dry track. We worked a lot with the settings, in fact, the car is faster than the line in the protocol. I made a mistake in turn 12, went off the track and lost a few tenths.
