Pilot “McLaren » Lando Norris won the 15th round of the Formula 1 championship – the Dutch Grand Prix.
The British driver was the first to complete 72 laps at the Zandvoort circuit; season leader Max Verstappen of Red Bull was second, 22.896 seconds behind Norris. The top three is completed by Monaco representative Charles Leclerc (Ferrari, +25.439 seconds).
Norris’ teammate Oscar Piastri of Australia (+27.337) finished fourth. Britain’s Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), a seven-time world champion, was eighth. Norris set the fastest lap and reduced the gap to Verstappen in the overall standings to 70 points.
Verstappen won at home in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
