For RB the race in Monza will be a home race, the team expects to earn points…
Daniel Ricciardo: “I’m happy to be back on track this week. We didn’t score any points at Zandvoort, but we had a good race, getting the best out of the car and the strategy, and we’ll try to unlock its potential this week.
I have great memories of Monza. Great fans, victory in 2021, but the most important thing is pizza!”
Yuki Tsunoda: “The weekend in Monza is always special, not only because it is another home race for the team where we count on the support of the fans – it is the last real high-speed circuit on the calendar.
Driving a car with low downforce is always interesting. The track has been completely rebuilt, none of the teams know what to expect, although the grip on the asphalt is probably better than before, which will affect the performance of the tyres.
Finding the right setup will be difficult as the circuit will change quickly from one session to the next.”
