Williams Racing announced the start of a partnership with major Argentinian IT company Globant, which operates in 33 countries, mainly in Latin and Central America, and its shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
Globant is already an official partner of Formula 1 this spring and is also working with Williams to coincide with the upcoming debut of Franco Colapinto, a young Argentinian driver who will drive the remaining nine rounds of the season for the British team.
Globant previously provided financial support to Colapinto in F2 and will continue to do so now that he has become the first Argentine driver in Formula 1 in 23 years.
James VowlesTeam Principal: “I am delighted that Globant is joining Williams as Argentina prepares to mark another important milestone in the country’s Formula 1 history. The partnership between our two organisations is driven by innovation and a passion for making the fan experience more exciting. And from this weekend in Monza, we will begin our collaboration.”
