Lando Norris starts from pole and is determined to win…
Lando Norris: “I didn’t get a perfect lap in yesterday’s qualifying, but I still got pole position, so I’m pretty happy. Now I want to quickly find out what we can do today. But I’m not going to predict how everything will end.
It is clear that we have a long race ahead of us, but no one knows what events will take place on the track. It is important to stay ahead, and if we can do that, this is the ideal scenario.
At the start of the season we probably didn’t expect to have such a quick car at this stage of the season, but the team has done a great job and now McLaren is the quickest.
It is great fun to see and contribute to the successes of our team. Today I have to do my bit again. Winning the qualification is only half the battle, but today we will have to tackle the second half of the task. And the task is this: to win the winning double!”
