Fernando Alonso received the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar. Today, the Spanish Formula 1 driver took to the streets of Monaco for the first time in a bespoke hypercar designed by design agency Q by Aston Martin.
The car is painted in Satin Aston Martin Racing Green with additional contrasting AMR Satin Lime graphics, which emphasise the hypercar’s aerodynamic features. Exposed carbon fibre adorns the roof, bonnet and aero elements underneath the car. Alonso’s car has one more bright detail, which most won’t see: the number 14 is engraved on the red aluminium throttle pedal.
Fernando Alonso: “It’s hard to put into words how much I was looking forward to this day. Getting behind the wheel of my own Valkyrie, which I worked closely on with the Q by Aston Martin team, is an unforgettable experience.
The Valkyrie is a Formula 1 car for the road, with so much knowledge and technology that Aston Martin has gained on the track that I can’t wait to get out on the road.”
