Lenovo and Formula 1 have announced an expansion of their partnership. From 2025, the technology company will be given the status of global partner, while Motorola, a subsidiary of Lenovo Group, will become Formula 1’s global smartphone partner.
As part of the agreement, Lenovo will become the title sponsor of two stages, and the amount of Lenovo and Motorola advertising at the circuits will be increased.
Stefano Domenicali, Chief Executive of Formula 1, said: “I am delighted that Lenovo is becoming a global partner of Formula 1. Lenovo’s creativity and passion for technology and innovation supports Formula 1’s ambition to create more unique moments for fans to experience.
“This day marks a new chapter in our partnership, which will only continue to expand. I look forward to continuing our work with Lenovo, leveraging our shared commitment to precision, innovation and sustainability to ensure Formula 1 remains the most technologically advanced sport in the world for many years to come.”
