Lewis Hamilton has long been interested in tennis, he enjoys taking to the court, but he also regularly visits major world tournaments, and yesterday he attended one of the matches of the US Open, the US Open Championship.
It was the women’s singles final between Aryna Sabalenka and American Jessica Pegula at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium in New York, and Lewis was spotted among other celebrities at the VIP booth.
He was there in the company of American sprinter Noah Lyles, the recent winner of the Paris Olympics in the 100m, and Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine Vogue.
They chatted animatedly and followed the events on the court, and one can only guess who they were looking for, but the match ended in victory for the Belarusian tennis player. Incidentally, this was Sabalenka’s first performance at the US Open.
