The organizers of the Las Vegas Grand Prix presented part of the concert program that will accompany the 22nd leg of the season, scheduled for the penultimate weekend of November.
The headliners are the British electronic duo Snakehips, the American rapper Big Boi and the Canadian artist Evan White, who has since moved to California, performs under the stage name Vandelux and also works in the genre of electronic dance music.
Fans will also be entertained by German techno group Meute, whose music may be remembered by fans of the Babylon Berlin series, and DJ Shift. As is clear from the press release published today, this is not the entire concert program and the names of other artists will be announced shortly.
The Vandelux concert will take place on Thursday, November 21st on the Silver Stage, i.e. on the “Silver Stage”, located at the end of the start-finish straight between the 1st and 3rd corner of the circuit, there is also a very spacious fan zone.
On Friday, Big Boi, now working solo and formerly part of the duo Outkast, will perform at the same venue; on Saturday he will be replaced by British electronics engineers Snakehips.
Even if this name doesn’t ring a bell, listen to their old hit “All My Friends”, and most likely you’ll remember it from the very first bars. On YouTube alone, the video for this song has been viewed more than 70 million times.
“Fans will see performances from world-class entertainers and their favorite racers on the Silver Stage. It is located in the heart of the race’s largest fan area, where a variety of entertainment will be offered to our guests throughout the weekend,” said Ashley Goodhue-White, Grand Prix Las Vegas vice president of cultural programs.
