Daniel Ricciardo: “I am looking forward to the race in Baku. As with any street circuit, it is important to find your limits as soon as possible.
“The team in Faenza is working hard and I’m looking forward to testing the new car this weekend. We have an interesting Grand Prix ahead of us, I’m sure we can score some points.”
Yuki Tsunoda: “I like the Baku circuit with its unusual combination of a long high-speed section from the last right-hander to the first, with a narrow section in the old town. It suited our car in the past and I scored points there twice.
The walls are close, so you have to be very precise when driving. This year, some barriers have been moved and extra gates have been added to evacuate cars, reducing the chance of a safety car leaving.
The race in Baku keeps you sharp, we are constantly switching, just like in Singapore, where the next round takes place.”
