The 24-year-old driver started the race from pole position and, for the first time in his career, was able to maintain the lead from first place at the start. For Norris, this victory was the third of the season and of his career. He retains second place in the individual competition.
Current world champion and season leader, Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull), finished second in Singapore. Norris’ lead at the finish line was more than 20 seconds. The top three Grand Prix winners were completed by Australian Oscar Piastri (McLaren).
The next stage of the championship will take place from October 18 to 20 in Austin, America.
